Japan Flag

The flag of Japan, known as the Nisshōki (日章旗) in Japanese and commonly referred to as the Hinomaru (日の丸), is one of the simplest yet most iconic national flags in the world. It features a white rectangular field with a red circle in the center, representing the sun. The red circle symbolizes the rising sun, which has been a powerful cultural and spiritual symbol in Japan for centuries. Japan is often called the "Land of the Rising Sun," and the flag reflects this identity.
