Latvia Flag

The flag of Latvia is a simple yet distinctive design featuring two horizontal maroon bands with a narrow white stripe in the center. The maroon color, which is unique among national flags, symbolizes the readiness of the Latvians to defend their freedom and sovereignty, while the white stripe represents peace, independence, and truth. According to legend, the flag dates back to the 13th century, making it one of the oldest flags in the world.
