Oman Flag

The flag of Oman features three horizontal stripes of white, red, and green, with a vertical red stripe on the hoist side that contains the national emblem at the top. The white symbolizes peace and prosperity, red represents the battles fought to defend the country, and green stands for fertility and the green mountains of Oman. The national emblem, located in the upper hoist, is a traditional Khanjar dagger crossed with two swords, symbolizing Oman’s heritage and strength. Officially adopted in its current form in 1995, the flag reflects the country’s history, unity, and the pride of its people.
